NEW YORK — The Chicago Bulls selected North Carolina freshman forward Caleb Wilson with the No. 4 pick in the 2026 NBA Draft.
Wilson led the Tar Heels in points (19.8 ppg) and rebounds (9.4 rpg) and was sidelined for the last month of the season after breaking his right thumb while dunking in practice. Wilson also missed six games earlier in the season after breaking a bone in his left hand.
The 19-year-old Wilson can play multiple positions thanks to his versatility and is a more-than-capable defender, something Chicago sorely lacked this past season.

The Bulls had significant turnover in the front office, with the firing of executive VP of basketball operations Arturas Karnisovas and general manager Marc Eversley. Head coach Billy Donovan soon resigned, and Tiago Splitter, who led the Portland Trail Blazers in an interim capacity, was charged with getting Chicago back to being competitive in the Eastern Conference.
For now, Wilson addresses their need for more frontline help, and the Bulls can add to their haul as they have the No. 15 pick in Tuesday’s draft.
