In the sixth round, Nicolson rocked Turner with a left to the chin in the final minute. In the closing seconds, Nicolson nearly slipped through the ropes. Turner continued to press forward in the seventh and eighth rounds but was repeatedly countered, with blood still coming from her nose.

In the ninth round, Turner came forward but threw little, allowing Nicolson to dictate the pace. In the tenth and final round, referee Phil Austin deducted a point from Turner for using her head. Turner attempted to land a big punch late, but Nicolson again landed a sharp left in the closing seconds.

All three judges scored it 100-89.

Southpaw Andrew Hunt, 11-1-1 (6), lost a split decision to Benjamin Hussain, 14-2 (8), over 10 rounds. Hussain was ineligible to win the title after failing to attend the second weigh-in.

Hunt scored a knockdown in the third round, earning an eight-count from referee Ignatius Misailidis. The remainder of the fight was competitive, with both fighters having moments. Hussain suffered a cut over his left eyebrow in the ninth round during a hard exchange. In the final round, Hussain’s face was swelling but he closed strong.

Scores were 95-94 twice for Hussain and 95-94 for Hunt.

IBF Australasian super lightweight champion Jake Wyllie, 19-2-1 (17), stopped Miles Zalewski, 12-4 (10), at 2:41 of the second round of a scheduled ten.

Wyllie dropped Zalewski with a combination at the end of the first round. In the second, Zalewski had Wyllie in trouble before Wyllie rallied, scoring another knockdown. With Zalewski against the ropes, referee Brett Manton stepped in, in what appeared to be an early stoppage.

Heavyweight Teremoana Teremoana, 11-0 (11), knocked out Bowie Tupou, 29-8 (20), at 1:14 of the first round in a scheduled eight-round bout. Teremoana dominated before landing an uppercut that dropped Tupou, prompting referee Ignatius Misailidis to wave it off.

Jesse “Tip Rat” Bolt, 4-0 (4), stopped Faavesi Issako, 3-6 (2), in the second round of a scheduled eight to win the vacant Victoria State lightweight title. Bolt scored a knockdown before referee Brett Manton halted the bout.

Super welterweight southpaw Chole Chaos, 7-2-2 (3), fought to a split draw with Arlene Blencowe, 5-6-1 (2), over eight rounds.

Super middleweight Omar El-Abdallah, 5-0 (4), stopped Alivereti Dodomo, 7-9 (6), in a scheduled six-round bout.

Super lightweight Jonte Metaxas, 3-0 (1), defeated Troy Toleafoa, 0-2 (0), over four rounds.

Ring announcer was Lt. Dan Hennessey.
