“Hi brother, I am ready every time. I’m ready for Las Vegas, New York, Saudi Arabia, anything.

“Come on! Greedy belly is my friend,” Usyk said while laughing in the clip posted by Turki Alalshikh.

The comments immediately created speculation about Fury because Usyk did not directly mention his upcoming fight against Rico Verhoeven on May 23 in Egypt.

That fight is widely viewed as a severe mismatch given Usyk’s accomplishments in boxing compared to Verhoeven’s limited professional boxing experience, despite his kickboxing success.

Usyk and Fury have already fought twice, with Usyk winning both fights. Still, another meeting between them would likely generate enormous money because of the commercial success and attention surrounding their rivalry.

Fury is also expected to face Anthony Joshua later this year after both heavyweights take tune-up fights during the summer months.

The way Usyk mentioned Fury in the clip appeared to be an undisguised sign that he still wants a third fight despite already holding two wins over him. Usyk previously named Fury, Verhoeven, and the winner of the Wardley-Dubois fight as the final three opponents he wanted before retirement.

Since Usyk has already beaten Daniel Dubois twice, including their 2023 stoppage, it remains unclear whether he has real interest in facing him again. Some fans believe Usyk may have expected Fabio Wardley to defeat Dubois before finalizing that retirement plan.

A third Fury fight would also likely generate far more global interest and revenue than another meeting with Dubois at this stage.
