“And then as far as his skills, I feel like he’s just one notch under great. He does everything good,” said Keyshawn. “He don’t have nothing great in his arsenal. Everything is just okay. That’s good. That’s good. That’s good. Which makes him a good fighter. But he just not with the elites of the elites.”

The comments came during an appearance on the “What’s Up That Podcast,” where Davis spent a large part of the interview discussing Haney, Gervonta Davis, Shakur Stevenson, and the fallout from missing weight for his canceled fight against Edwin De Los Santos last year.

Keyshawn said he approached Bill Haney earlier this year about making the fight happen, but believes the other side has gone quiet since then.

“You may see the video before. Me and Shakur at the weigh-ins this last fight in January, I walked up to Bill. Long story short, I’m like, ‘Yo, we going to fight this year, right?’ He said, ‘Man, handle your business.’ I said, ‘I’mma handle my business. Are we going to fight this year?’ He said, ‘Just stand on your word after the fight.’”

Davis then said:

“After the fight, why I’m not fighting Devin right now? If you want to call it a duck, call it a duck.”

He also questioned whether Haney has looked the same since his loss to Ryan Garcia.

“You don’t think he the same? The world don’t think he the same.”

Still, Davis admitted Haney showed toughness by continuing to get up during the Garcia fight.

“I give him a lot of credit as a fighter. That s*** not easy to come back from.”

The interview drifted into several possible future fights, including matchups with Haney, Conor Benn, Tank Davis, and even influencer-boxing events. Keyshawn repeatedly said he wants the biggest fights available and claimed fans are already demanding tougher opposition for him.
