FORMER tennis star and Playboy model Ashley Harkleroad is celebrating “freedom” after splitting from her second husband.
Harkleroad, 40, tied the knot with her former coach Chuck Adams, 54, in 2009.
The pair have two teenage children and were wedded for over 16 years.
But they filed for divorce earlier this month, citing ‘irreconcilable differences’.
Former world No39 Harkleroad married her first husband – fellow pro Alex Bogomolov Jr – when she was just 19.
And now she is looking forward to “living life on her own terms”.

The Californian told TMZ: “I got married when I was 19 years old.
“I’ve spent the majority of my life listening to men, obeying them, my dad, my coach who was also my husband.
“Although he is an incredible father and lifelong friend it’s time for me to live my life on my own terms.
“I deserve that. Freedom.”
Harkleroad reached the third round at the French Open in 2003 and the Australian Open in 2007.
And she made waves with a racy Playboy shoot in 2008, becoming the first active tennis player to pose for the adult mag.
Harkleroad said: “I thought about it, and it was something that I did.
“I’m proud of my body. I was representing a female athlete’s body.”
