Another day of minor league baseball is in the books. See the results below.

AAA: Sugar Land Space Cowboys (20-26) lost 11-6 (BOX SCORE)

Sugar Land got on the board in the first on an Alexander RBI single and Perez RBI double. Ullola got the start but struggled allowing 5 runs over 4.1 innings while striking out 8. The offense got one back in the third on an Alexander RBI double and 3 runs in the 4th on Price 3 run double. The pen struggled a bit allowing another five runs and the offense was quiet the rest of the way as Sugar Land fell 11-6.

Note: Alexander has a .884 OPS this season.

AA: Corpus Christi Hooks (18-22) won 5-2 (BOX SCORE)

The Hooks got on the board in the 2nd inning scoring 3 runs on a Williams 3 run double. They got another run in the 3rd on a Bush RBI single. Nezuh got the start and allowed 2 runs over 4.2 innings. Hader pitched in another rehab appearance and tossed a scoreless inning with a strikeout. In the 8th, Schiavone connected on a solo home run. The pen was solid as they closed out the 5-2 win.

Note: Schiavone has 18 HR this season.

A+: Asheville Tourists (9-31) lost 8-5 (BOX SCORE)

Ashville got on the board in the 2nd inning scoring 3 runs on a Daudet sac fly and a Lytle 2 run double. Frey added an RBI double in the third inning. Rodriguez got the start and went 5.2 innings allowing 4 runs, with all 4 coming in the 3rd inning. Asheville took the lead in the 6th scoring a run on a wild pitch but the Hot Rods got it right back in the bottom of the inning. The Hot Rods would score 3 in the 8th to take the lead and the Asheville offense was unable to respond as they fell 8-5.

Note: Brutcher is hitting .261 this season.

A: Fayetteville Woodpeckers (18-22) lost 3-1 (BOX SCORE) 

Verdugo got the start for the Woodpeckers and went 4 innings allowing 2 runs, 1 earned. The Woodpeckers got on the board in the 3rd inning on an Alvarez sac fly. After Varela allowed a run in the 5th, Beck came on in relief and was dominant striking out 7 over 4 scoreless innings. The offense was unable to rally as the Woodpeckers fell 3-1.

Note: Beck has 33 K in 24.2 innings this season.
