VITOR PEREIRA was SENT OFF just 20 minutes into Wolves’ clash against Brighton.

The Wolves manager was given his marching orders following a foul by Seagulls star Carlos Baleba.

Referee Jarred Gillett gave the midfielder a yellow card for his late tackle on Hwang Hee-chan.

The official then turned the cards onto the Wolves’ dugout.

The manager was shown a red card after he booted a ball into the dugout.

It is not clear whether or not the dismissal was for the kicking of the ball or for something he said.

Pereira seemed stunned at the decision as he remained still for a moment before leaving the touchline.

Wolves seemed to become more motivated after the manager was sent to the stands.

The hosts fired themselves into the lead as Marshall Munetsi’s volley cannoned in off the bar and Bart Verbruggen’s back.

The goal came just ONE MINUTE after Pereira was sent off.

Wolves went into the game without a win in the Premier League and bottom of the table.

They did pick up their first point last week as they drew 1-1 away at Tottenham Hotspur.

The West Midlands side looked set to snatch all three points before Joao Palhinha’s late equaliser.

Brighton, meanwhile, visited the Molineux Stadium on the back of their 3-1 win over Chelsea.

Fabian Hurzeler’s side would have been hoping to pick up three points and keep themselves in the top half.

Pereria will not be missing from the dugout in Wolves’ next Premier League game against Sunderland on October 18.
