Down 2-1 against the defending NBA champion Oklahoma City Thunder, the San Antonio Spurs were in a near must-win situation in Game 4 of the Western Conference finals on Sunday, May 24.

Good thing the Spurs have Victor Wembanyama on their side.

The two-time All-Star and 2026 NBA Defensive Player of the Year scored a game-high 33 points in the Spurs’ 103-82 win, which evened up the series at two games apiece.

Wembanyama managed his points total despite sitting out the final 8:43 of the game as the Spurs cruised to victory.
