Two Tigers named to On3’s Top 100 players for 2026 list

Welcome to the Morning Commute

Today we’re celebrating the early-early-early preseason accomplishments of some of our favorite Mizzou Tigers.

This weekend, On3 released its list of the Top 100 College Football Players for the 2026 season. And despite the fact that only two Mizzou Tigers made the list, On3 thinks highly of both Ahmad Hardy (no. 16) and Cayden Green (no. 18.)

The obvious question is if Ahmad Hardy will even play in the upcoming college football season. Though he seems to be recovering well from the recent shooting that left him with a gunshot wound, he still faces a long recovery period that could keep him out of a chunk of the campaign… or none of it! We genuinely don’t know yet. Regardless, it’s good to see two of our favorite Mizzou Tigers get honored.

Bonus shouts to former Tigers Kewan Lacy (no. 12) and Damon Wilson II (no. 54) for also making the list.

If you’re new here, WELCOME to “Olympic Sports Catch Up!” As the Olympic sports manager at this beautiful little website, I [editor Karen Steger] lead a team of talented and passionate writers who have a special interest in non-revenue Olympic sports at Missouri (I despise the phrase “non-revenue”).

This is genuinely one of my favorite regular pieces of the summer, and it’s a must-read for anyone who’s craving regular Mizzou updates.

Playing primarily at third base, his absence opened the door for freshman Keegan Knutson, who handled the position for much of that stretch and made 27 starts on the year. Patterson finished the season with 24 starts in 24 appearances, hitting .237 with two doubles, a triple, two home runs and 14 RBI.

It’s that season again, folks. The transfer portal will never leave us alone.
