Tim Bradley says it’s going to be “too easy” for Gervonta Davis to defeat Jake Paul in their 195-lb exhibition match on November 14, 2025, at the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida. Bradley believes that the speed and skills of Tank Davis (30-0-1, 28 KOs) will be too much for the bigger Paul (12-1, 7 KOs) to overcome in their headliner on Netflix.

Elephant Won’t Stop the Bee Sting

“It’s going to be like a bee and an elephant. You’ve got Jake, who is big, but the bee is going to scare him. He’s going to have him running,” said Tim Bradley on his channel, dissecting the Jake Paul vs. Gervonta Davis fight.

Tank is going to have to overcome all that reach that Jake has going for him, and avoid getting hit with his powerful right hand. We saw Davis go down in a delayed reaction from a hard jab in the ninth round of his last fight against Lamont Roach on March 1, 2025. Although the referee ruled that it was a slip, replays showed Tank getting hit clean and going down.

Bradley Labels Jake Paul a Leech

“Tank isn’t going to lose this fight. He’s going to mop the floor with Jake Paul. He’s about to erase this leech. He’s about to cut his leech out the game,” said Bradley.

Tim didn’t say what he meant by labeling Jake as a “leech.” I’m assuming that he views Jake as someone who is taking advantage of his huge social media following to make a lot of money. In the last two years, since 2023, Paul has reportedly earned $83.6 million.

Jake Paul’s Half-Billion Dream Run

If he keeps making money at that rate, he could wind up earning over half a billion in the next five to seven years from boxing. That’s got to make Bradley green with envy, seeing Jake bring in that kind of revenue without having to win a world title to earn it.

The size, reach, and punching power of Jake Paul are going to present a big problem for Tank Davis to live up to Bradley’s expectations. When Davis fought the 6’0″ Mario Barrios on June 26, 2021, he struggled with his size and looked frustrated going into the later rounds.

Flashback to the Barrios Fight

The situation was so dire at one point that Floyd Mayweather Jr. went to Tank’s corner after the ninth round and gave him a pep talk, telling him he was trailing in the fight.

The conversation lifted Gervonta’s spirits, and he took the fight to Barrios, scoring an 11th-round knockout. Jake is a lot bigger and stronger than Barrios. So, it could be far worse for Tank, especially with Paul wearing 10-oz gloves rather than 12-oz.
