The start of Thursday’s game between the Yankees and Baltimore Orioles has been delayed due to inclement weather at Camden Yards.

With first pitch originally set for 6:35 p.m., Baltimore announced that first pitch of the three-game series finale with the Yanks has been pushed back to 6:55 p.m.

Right-handed Gerrit Cole is expected to be the starter for the visiting Yankees.

Cole has been outstanding in August. In three starts, he’s pitched to the tune of a 1.93 ERA and 1.07 WHIP across 18.2 innings, tallying 19 strikeouts in the process.

Baltimore will be hoping to avoid a three-game sweep at home following their controversial 5-3 loss on Wednesday night. At the time of writing, the Orioles are 1.5 games behind the Minnesota Twins for the third and final AL Wild Card spot.

The O’s are slated to send out 29-year-old righty Kyle Bradish, who has compiled a very respectable 3.65 ERA across 24 starts this season.
