Salma Hayek Pinault is one of the latest cover stars of Sports Illustrated’s iconic Swimsuit issue — and naturally, she celebrated in style.

The actress arrived on the red carpet on Thursday, May 15, wearing a black midi dress, featuring sheer sleeves and feathered details that cascaded around her toned legs.

To give the dress its own moment, Hayek wore her long black hair down, keeping the focus on the intricate details of the look. The Without Blood star opted for tall closed-toe heels to complete the outfit.

At 58-years-old, Hayek has plenty to celebrate — including landing the cover of the June 2025 issue, a major milestone that initially felt “so surreal,” she wasn’t sure it was real.

“I thought I was being punked. It was so surreal,” she said during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday, May 14.

One reason for her disbelief? Her age. “I’m 58!” she explained. “When I was 20, I would look at this and say, ‘Oh my God, they’re so beautiful.’ I knew my body type wasn’t what they were looking for.”

Despite some initial hesitation, Hayek said yes to the opportunity — and the result speaks for itself. The House of Gucci star appears on the cover in a shimmery green two-piece, posing in shallow water.

In her interview with the SI Swimsuit team, Hayek shared a message about embracing every stage of life. “I hope that when people see the interview or the photos, it reminds them how important it is to always put effort into finding joy in any given situation.”
