Your son s*** on himself,” said Ryan Garcia to the Ariel Helwani Show, talking about Devin Haney from their fight in 2024. “Think about this. His [Bill Haney] son s*** on himself in the ring. His mom fainted in the crowd. I gave you the worst mental beating, physical beating, and PTSD for the rest of your life, probably. So don’t f*** with me.
“You guys don’t want to fight me. I will turn up on you again and beat the s*** out of you. I have his number. He won’t want it; he never did want it, and that’s it. He definitely s*** on himself, yeah,” said Ryan when asked by Helwani if Haney did soil his trunks during their fight. “I hit him so hard, he s**** on himself. In the fight, yes. You know when you get hit so badly, you lose all of your bodily functions and you can actually s*** yourself. I did that to him. I think it was from the first hook I hit him with that almost took him all the way out, which the referee was saving him.
“People forget that, too. I fought the referee. I fought the system. I fought everybody that night. I beat the s*** out of him. Somebody gave it a draw. Do you remember that? That’s pretty insane, too.”
Ryan’s remarks quickly spread across X, where fans revisited one of the sport’s most controversial fights in recent years. Haney was knocked down three times before the majority decision was overturned and changed to a no contest because of Garcia’s failed drug tests.
The exchange is the latest chapter in a rivalry that has continued well beyond their meeting in Brooklyn. Haney recently mocked Garcia’s appearance on social media, while Ryan accused Haney of using a hookah, keeping interest in a rematch alive.
