Anytime a player like Chris Boucher, Precious Achiuwa, Christian Koloko or Jontay Porter knocked down a three, Raptors supporters and analysts alike didn’t hesitate to post a clip to social media. During the 2019 championship run, Leonard thrived playing next to an effective stretch-five, particularly as he probed the mid-range areas.
While Toronto has never found a similar weapon to maximize Scottie Barnes’ strengths, it makes sense that fans believe this should be a priority for General Manager and Vice-President Bobby Webster.
