PGA Championship 1st Round Tee Times

The tees times for the first round of 108th US PGA Championship have been announced, with the showpiece three-ball of Rory McIlroy, Jon Rahm and Jordan Spieth due to start at 1.40pm (BST).

Such is the size of the field – 156 players – that a two-tee start is being operated, with McIlroy’s group beginning on the 10th hole at Aronimink Golf Club in Pennsylvania.

McIlroy is bidding to the win the PGA Championship for the third time, following victories in 2012 and 2014, and is also looking to become the first player to win the Masters and the PGA in the same year since Jack Nicklaus achieved the feat in 1975.

Xander Schauffele, winner of the PGA Championship in 2024, goes out with three-tome PGA champion Brooks Koepka and Tyrrell Hatton in the group in front of McIlroy at 1.29pm, while world number one Scottie Scheffler starts his bid to defend the title he won a year ago at 7.05pm, alongside Matt Fitzpatrick and Justin Rose.

Fitzpatrick’s younger brother Alex, who secured his tour card with victory alongside brother Matt at the Zurich Classic last month, tees off in the first group of the tournament at 11.45am with Americans Braden Shattuck and Ben Griffin.

Tommy Fleetwood goes out at 6.43pm alongside fellow Ryder Cup star Bob MacIntyre and America’s Chris Gotterup.

Two-time major winner Bryson DeChambeau is playing alongside Rickie Fowler and Ludvig Aberg, with the trio teeing off from the first hole at 1.18pm.
