PEP GUARDIOLA was spotted standing in front of a Wonderwall during the first night of Oasis’ comeback gig in Manchester.

Guardiola swapped the dugout for the mosh pit on Friday – as he partied with the family of Oasis lead singers Noel and Liam Gallagher.

The band’s return to their Manchester hometown saw 80,000 fans descend on Heaton Park in 29 degree heat.

And Guardiola, 54, was spotted posing for snaps with Noel and Liam’s children in front of a snazzy flagged fence.

From left to right, the picture shows Noel’s sons Donovan and Sonny next to Liam’s daughter Anais, with Pep wedged between Liam’s boys Gene and Lennon.

The Spaniard enjoyed backstage VIP access and wore a classic retro Man City shirt and a casual pair of denim shorts, with Gene sharing it on his Instagram.

The 24-year-old wrote: “Pic of the century alright now everyone else can f*** off.”

It’s the first time in 16 years that Oasis appeared on stage together in Manchester, with their comeback officially kicking off in Cardiff last week.

Oasis singer Noel, 56, is a lifelong Man City superfan and regularly attends games at the Etihad.

He was the first to interview Guardiola following his arrival in Manchester nine years ago and the pair have since established a close bond.

Noel regularly connects with the Man City boss before and after matches.

Guardiola and his City team were dumped out of the Club World Cup in the last 16 following a shock defeat to Al-Hilal on July 1.

But the legendary boss has not looked back in anger over that result, instead using his downtime before pre-season to party.

Jack Grealish has gone from eye-catching showman and heartthrob to miserable bench warmer – and I know who’s to blame

Later, thousands broke out doing the Poznan dance when Noel announced to the crowd that the “boss” was backstage.

He then suggested that Manchester United fans should join in as they’ve “not had a lot to celebrate recently”.

Guardiola memorably helped recreate Oasis’ iconic Definitely Maybe album cover to launch City’s 2024/25 kit last September.

The five Oasis dates at Heaton Park are the only UK shows not in a stadium, with the others held at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium, Wembley in London and Murrayfield in Edinburgh.

Meanwhile, Guardiola will be happy his squad can have a slightly longer break before the Premier League kicks back off in August.

City face Italian side Palermo in their only friendly on Saturday August 9.

They then kick off their bid to regain the Prem title with a trip to Wolves on Saturday August 16th.
