The 2025 NFL Draft is now less than two weeks away, folks. As we get closer to the big day, the picture is starting to come into focus as the top prospects schedule meetings with interested teams.

Like always, much of the attention will focus on the quarterbacks. While the 2025 quarterback class isn’t considered to be loaded with talent, we’ve seen the lengths that quarterback-needy teams will go to to land a passer.

Cam Ward and Shedeur Sanders are widely considered to be the top options at the position, but even Jaxson Dart and Jalen Milroe have gotten some first-round buzz of late.

We know quarterbacks will go in the first round, and we also know some trades will be completed. Today, we’re going to do a full first-round mock draft that features a few trades and a few unique selections.

Let’s get to it.

NFL mock draft 2025

1. Tennessee Titans – Cam Ward, QB, Miami

This pick seems almost guaranteed at this point. The Titans didn’t bring in a quarterback in free agency and there’s no chance the team sticks with Will Levis as the starter. The Titans added more fuel to this speculation by cancelling pre-draft workouts with Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter. Ward also dropped a strong hint on a livestream that he’s going to the Titans.

2. Cleveland Browns – Travis Hunter, WR/CB, Colorado

The Browns would likely be tempted to take Shedeur Sanders here, but I went with arguably the best player in the class in Travis Hunter instead. Hunter could be an impact player on both sides of the ball for the Browns, and the team desperately needs playmakers. This is another pick that makes too much sense to not happen.

TRADE: 3. New Orleans Saints (from New York Giants) – Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado

The Browns don’t take Sanders, so the Saints see an opportunity and jump on it. Derek Carr may not be ready for the 2025 season, and even if he is, he’s not the long-term solution. The Saints need a franchise signal-caller for new head coach Kellen Moore, and Sanders fits the bill.

4. New England Patriots – Abdul Carter, EDGE, Penn State

In this mock, the Patriots get extremely lucky and have arguably the best prospect in the class available at pick No. 4. The Patriots need an elite edge rusher, and Carter fits that bill. The talented Penn State product could immediately transform the Patriots’ defense under new head coach Mike Vrabel.

5. Jacksonville Jaguars- Mason Graham, DT, Michigan

The Jaguars didn’t address the defensive line in free agency, leading many to link Mason Graham to the team. Graham is a disruptive force on the defensive interior who would fit in perfectly next to Maason Smith. The Jaguars get a high-floor, high-ceiling defender without having to move.

6. Las Vegas Raiders – Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State

The Raiders have a new quarterback and a new coaching staff, so a new running back would make sense as well. Jeanty is undoubtedly the best running back in this class and the Boise State product has the ability to immediately transform the Raiders’ offense. In 2024, the Raiders had the worst ground game in the league, making this an obvious fit.

7. New York Jets – Armand Membou, OL, Missouri

The New York Jets, like the Raiders, have undergone big changes this offseason. One of those changes was at right tackle as solid veteran Morgan Moses departed in free agency. Armand Membou excelled at right tackle in 2024 and could immediately slide into the same role with the Jets.

8. Carolina Panthers – Mike Green, EDGE, Marshall

The Carolina Panthers were abysmal on defense in 2024, so expect the team to add to that side of the ball in the first round. In this mock, the team selects Marshall edge rusher Mike Green, who dominated in college and has the makings of an elite pass-rusher in the NFL. In Carolina, Green could be the pass-rusher the team has been missing since getting rid of Brian Burns.

TRADE: 9. New York Giants (from New Orleans Saints) – Will Campbell, OL, LSU

The Giants come out as a big winner here as the team trades back and still lands arguably the best offensive lineman in this class. Campbell excelled at left tackle at LSU, but could be an All-Pro guard in the NFL. The Giants could slot Campbell in on the interior and instantly improve their line.

10. Chicago Bears – Shemar Stewart, EDGE, Texas A&M

The Chicago Bears did a great job of strengthening their weaknesses in free agency, and now the team has the chance to add another elite playmaker. Shemar Stewart is a physically gifted edge rusher who just looks like a quality NFL pass-rusher. The Bears get a high-upside, high-motor player to go opposite Montez Sweat.

11. San Francisco 49ers – Tyler Booker, OL, Alabama

In 2024, the San Francisco 49ers were one of the most disappointing teams in the league. To return to contention, the team must rebuild the trenches and Tyler Booker could be the perfect option. Booker is a physically imposing guard who excelled in the SEC. The 49ers need another starting-caliber guard opposite the impressive Dominick Puni, and Booker fits the bill.

12. Dallas Cowboys – Matthew Golden, WR, Texas

Most mock drafts have Tetairoa McMillan as the first non-Travis Hunter receiver off the board. However, in this case, the Cowboys are enthralled by in-state receiver Matthew Golden. The team needs a productive pass-catcher next to CeeDee Lamb and Golden has the speed and route-running to be a true weapon.

TRADE: 13. Denver Broncos (from Miami Dolphins) – Tyler Warren, TE, Penn State

The Broncos get anxious and decide to jump the Indianapolis Colts to select Tyler Warren, who is clearly the top tight end in the class and would fit in perfectly in a Sean Payton offense. The Broncos brought in Evan Engram, but Warren could fit the “Joker” role Payton covets.

14. Indianapolis Colts – Colston Loveland, TE, Michigan

The Colts are disappointed to miss out on Warren, but the team quickly pivots to the next-best tight end. Colston Loveland is one of the best pure pass-catchers in this class, and the Colts desperately need a tight end who can create separation. Loveland helps out no matter who plays quarterback for the Colts in 2025.

15. Atlanta Falcons – Mykel Williams, EDGE, Georgia

Taking defenders has not been the M.O. of the Falcons lately. However, the team desperately needs pass-rushers and this class is too good to miss out on. In this mock, the Falcons keep Mykel Williams in-state and get a high-motor, relentless pass-rusher to build around on defense.

16. Arizona Cardinals – Jalon Walker, LB, Georgia

Jalon Walker is an interesting prospect. The Georgia product may be stuck between positions, as he’s capable of rushing the passer and being an off-ball linebacker. In Arizona, Walker could start as a true off-ball middle linebacker, giving the team a speedy option in the middle of the defense.

17. Cincinnati Bengals – Walter Nolen, DL, Ole Miss

In 2024, the Bengals missed the playoffs due to a poor defense. The team takes this seriously and adds a potentially elite interior defender in Walter Nolen. Nolen is a former top prospect who has incredible strength and speed and would pair nicely with veteran B.J. Hill.

18. Seattle Seahawks – Grey Zabel, OL, North Dakota State

Grey Zabel is an intriguing small-school prospect. Zabel was elite at left tackle at North Dakota State, but the prospect could fit in better at guard in the NFL. The Seahawks need two starting guards, so getting Zabel would be a fine start,

19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Malaki Starks, DB, Georgia

The Bucs have a solid roster with not too many glaring needs. However, some reinforcements are needed in the secondary, and Malaki Starks would be perfect. The Georgia product is a tackling machine who earns praise for his toughness and leadership. Starks could join Antoine Winfield Jr., giving the Bucs one of the best safety tandems in the league.

TRADE: 20. Miami Dolphins (from Denver Broncos) – Kelvin Banks Jr., OL, Texas

The Dolphins would come out of this draft as a big winner. The team traded back with the Denver Broncos and still landed a player they may have taken with their original pick. Kelvin Banks is an elite blocker with plenty of big-game experience who could replace the retiring Terron Armstead in Miami.

21. Pittsburgh Steelers – Jaxson Dart, QB, Ole Miss

I warned you all that a few quarterbacks were going in the first round. The Steelers get antsy in this scenario and decide to go in on Jaxson Dart. Even if the team finally signs Aaron Rodgers, Dart gives the team an option for the future who can learn behind the future Hall of Famer.

22. Los Angeles Chargers – Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Arizona

The Chargers can’t believe their luck, as arguably the best full-time wide receiver falls in their lap. McMillan is a big-bodied receiver who’s earned comparisons to Drake London and Mike Evans. Next to Ladd McConkey, the Chargers would have an elite one-two punch at receiver after bringing in McMillan.

23. Green Bay Packers- Will Johnson, CB, Michigan

Like the Chargers before them, the Packers decide to end an elite prospect’s slide. Will Johnson is the pick here, and the corner fills a big need in Green Bay. The Packers already lost Eric Stokes and could lose Jaire Alexander as well. Johnson is a potential CB1 who’s capable of shutting down elite receivers.

TRADE: 24. Buffalo Bills (from Minnesota Vikings) – Emeka Egbuka, WR, Ohio State

The Bills aren’t willing to miss out on a first-round receiver again, and they trade up ahead of the Texans and Lions to land Emeka Egbuka, who is a crisp route-runner with sure hands who would fit in perfectly with Josh Allen. This also takes away a player the Vikings’ division rival, the Lions, may want.

25. Houston Texans – Josh Simmons, OL, Ohio State

The Texans are disappointed to miss out on Egbuka, but the team quickly pivots to Josh Simmons. There are injury concerns with the lineman, but the Texans need a new left tackle after shipping out Laremy Tunsil this offseason.

26. Los Angeles Rams – Jihaad Campbell, LB, Alabama

The Rams aren’t used to having first-round picks, but they make the most of the one they have in 2025. Jihaad Campbell is a true three-down linebacker who has big-game experience and could be a Day 1 field general. The Rams get a tackling machine at the end of the first round.

27. Baltimore Ravens- James Pearce Jr., EDGE, Tennessee

The Ravens usually stand pat and let good players fall into their lap and that’s exactly what they do here. James Pearce Jr. was elite at Tennessee against quality opponents and his speed off the edge should entice teams, including the Ravens.

28. Detroit Lions – Luther Burden III, WR, Missouri

The Lions need another receiver to pair with the elite Amon-Ra St. Brown and deep-threat Jameson Williams. Burden is capable of playing any role as a receiver and has among the surest hands in this class. There are some character concerns, but the receiver could fit in perfectly in Detroit’s strong culture.

29. Washington Commanders – Nic Scourton, EDGE, Texas A&M

The Commanders were one of the best stories in the NFL in 2024 and they’ll look to continue that momentum in 2025. Scourton is a quick edge rusher with the strength to bully his way past offensive linemen. The Commanders need a player like Scourton to go opposite Dorance Armstrong.

TRADE: 30. Minnesota Vikings (from Buffalo Bills) – Jahdae Barron, DB, Texas

The Vikings trade back and still get an intriguing talent at an area of need. Jahdae Barron is capable of playing in the slot or as a true safety, and his versatility would be coveted by defensive coordinator Brian Flores.

31. Kansas City Chiefs- Josh Conerly Jr., OL, Oregon

The Chiefs lost the Super Bowl last season in part due to an inability to properly protect Patrick Mahomes. The team added tackle Jaylon Moore in free agency, but the team could double-down in the draft by selecting Conerly, who is a sturdy blocker who could be the left tackle of the future.

32. Philadelphia Eagles- Derrick Harmon, DT, Oregon

The Eagles get lucky and have an elite prospect fall in their laps. Derrick Harmon is a disruptive force on the interior who flashed some pass-rush moves in 2024, further boosting his value. The Eagles love adding depth on the trenches, and Harmon would fit in perfectly.
