Not only is Last Man Standing a simple game, our £1,000 Prize Leagues are free to enter — why not throw your hat in the ring?

How to Play

Ahead of each Matchweek (MW), you simply have to select one Premier League team to win their upcoming fixture.

If your chosen team wins, you progress to the next Matchweek and take another step towards the £1,000 prize.

However, if your team draws or loses, you are eliminated.

But here’s the catch, you can only select each team ONCE.

This means you can’t just select Liverpool or Arsenal every single week.

If you use up the strongest teams early on then you may progress with little stress but you risk being light on viable options when the stakes ramp up in the latter stages.

On the flip side, if you decide to save the top teams for later, you risk being eliminated early if one of the mid-table outfits lets you down.

If you forget to select a team before the Matchweek deadline (not advisable) you will be randomly allocated one from those available but you will only have yourself to blame if you’re subsequently eliminated.

If you make it close to the end of a Prize League and all the remaining players fail to select a winning team, all players active in the previous Matchweek will progress — think of it as an extra life.

As the name of the game suggests, the last remaining competitor will claim the £1,000 jackpot!

The deadline to enter your first selection is 8pm this Friday night (October 3rd) to coincide with kick-off of the Matchweek’s first fixture.

Here are the relevant match-ups:

• Bournemouth v Fulham
• Leeds v Tottenham
• Arsenal v West Ham
• Manchester United v Sunderland
• Chelsea v Liverpool
• Aston Villa v Burnley
• Everton v Crystal Palace
• Newcastle v Nottingham Forest
• Wolves v Brighton
• Brentford v Manchester City

Pick a winner from that lot and you’ll progress to Matchweek 8, which will immediately follow the October international break.

The Gunners will surely be a popular selection at home to the Hammers given the former are second in the table and the latter are languishing down in 19th.

But some entrants may be wary of a wicked New Manager Bounce with Nuno Espirito Santo now at the helm at the London Stadium.
