Ryan Garcia and Bill Haney got into a heated back-and-forth exchange during today’s final press conference for the Garcia vs. Rolando ‘Rolly’ Romero Fatal Fury: City of Wolves event this Friday, May 2nd, on DAZN PPV at Times Square in New York City.

Verbal Onslaught
Devin’s dad, Bill Haney, cut in when Ryan was talking about his headliner fight with Rolly (16-2, 13 KOs). Rather than taking the high road, Bill went for the throat, telling Kingry, “Your muscles are gone. Not too much Ostarine is left in him.” The monitor of the press conference was totally useless. He was just standing there and watching the spectacle without pushing the censor button.
Ryan wasn’t going to let Bill badmouth him, and he fired back with some insults. He was not even going to play nice because Bill had gotten him angry.
If Bill hadn’t been so lippy, we could have had a nice discourse between Kingry and Devin, but he was exploiting the opportunity. You could tell that Bill had come to the press conference well-prepared, saving up all kinds of insults for Ryan. This was like 365 days of anger that Bill was venting. Bill is still bitter about Devin’s loss.
Rolly Romero: “I’m going to knock Ryan out, and he can go have fun with Devin after. I think Devin deserves his rematch. He’s been asking for it for a very long time,” said Rolly at today’s final press conference for the Fatal Fury: City of Wolves event this Friday at Times Square in New York City.
Ryan Garcia: “Rolly has never been seen as a real elite fighter. So, I’m just here to do my job, knock him out, and ride off into the sunset. That’s it. That’s all he’s got. He’s got that sparring match, and that’s what he’s going to use until the day he dies.
“He [Bill Haney] was commenting on my physique [at the open workouts yesterday]. He was saying the same thing last time, and they got their a** whipped last time, too. You’re going to get your a** whipped again. You better be careful because Jose [Ramirez] is coming hard. I know Jose has got that left hook, too. So, you better be careful.
“We never hear you [Devin Haney] talk because you don’t do s***. You can’t train your chin.”
Ostarine Attack
Devin Haney: “Your muscles are gone. You can’t do s***.”
Ryan: “He’s got his daddy here.”
Bill Haney: “What the heck happened to Ryan Garcia? This is not the same Ryan Garcia.”
Ryan: “I got multiple personalties, b****. You don’t want to see the crazy personality.”
Bill: “That was a fraction of Ryan Garcia that we saw. Not too much Ostarine left in him. I’ll tell you what.”
Ryan: “You better keep saying that. You’re trying to build your son up.”
Bill: “He’s in for a tough fight against Rolly Romero. It’s going to be a tougher fight than we think, because he’s a fraction of the person he was on April 20th.”
