Motocaddy, the world’s leading electric trolley brand, is set to host this week’s Clutch Pro Tour event at the prestigious St Mellion Estate in Cornwall – a venue steeped in golfing history, where legends such as Seve Ballesteros, Bernhard Langer, and José María Olazábal have previously triumphed.
The Motocaddy Masters, taking place from 20–22 May, marks the seventh event in a 19-tournament, 54-hole Tier 1 schedule on the Clutch Pro Tour, culminating in a season-ending Grand Final at Al Hamra Golf Club in the UAE, with a £100,000 prize fund.
Earlier this year, Motocaddy announced a new multi-year partnership with the Clutch Pro Tour, becoming the Official Trolley and Laser Rangefinder Supplier. The agreement includes the sponsorship of two headline events during the season, with the second to follow later this year.
“The Motocaddy Masters remains one of the most eagerly anticipated events on the calendar,” said Clutch Pro Tour Co-founder and Director, Tom Hayward. “With added prizes and a world-class venue like St Mellion, we’re expecting a fiercely competitive tournament.”
PRIZE FUND
In addition to the £50,000 prize fund, the tournament winner will take home a top-of-the-range Motocaddy M7 GPS REMOTE electric trolley worth £1,450.
The runner-up will receive a 2025 S1 electric trolley, while the third-place finisher will be awarded a Motocaddy EliteFLEX hybrid bag.
As part of the tournament build-up, selected players will also compete in a Nearest the Pin Challenge on the practice day, with a PRO 3000 Laser Rangefinder up for grabs.
“We’re proud to host another standout event on the Clutch Pro Tour and to support the next generation of golfing talent,” said Oliver Churcher, Marketing Director at Motocaddy.
“It’s also a great chance to see our #TeamMotocaddy Ambassadors in action as they push for Order of Merit success.”
Motocaddy has expanded its professional ambassador programme for the 2025 season, now supporting more than fifteen emerging talents with access to cutting-edge equipment.
New signings include rising stars Giles Evans, Tyler Hogarty, Rebecca Earl, Imogen Courtney and Jordan Wrisdale, who won the last event at Heythrop Park and currently sits third on the Order of Merit.
As part of its expanded partnership, Motocaddy branding and product placements will feature across all Clutch Pro Tour events this season.
The brand will also benefit from extensive promotion through the Tour’s digital marketing and social media platforms, while players also take advantage of preferential access to Motocaddy’s award-winning product range.
