We’ve known who the Detroit Lions’ 2025 opponents are going to be for quite some time now, but this week we’ll finally get the exact schedule with dates and times for each game.

What we do know thus far is that the Lions won’t be playing in the regular-season opener like they did last year. Instead, it’ll be the Dallas Cowboys playing the Philadelphia Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field on Thursday, Sept. 4.

Over the course of the next few days, the league will slowly reveal some of the games for this coming season, with the full schedule release set to take place on Wednesday.

We’ll also likely get plenty of schedule leaks from different sources on social media, although be aware that those aren’t always accurate.

Here’s all the information you need to keep tabs on the Lions’ 2025 schedule release.

After finishing atop the NFC North in 2024, the Lions are playing a first-place slate in 2025.
