Last chance to enter ballot for 2027 Open Championship tickets!

Following the epic conclusion to the 154th Open Championship at Royal Birkdale, where over 300,000 fans saw Ryan Fox’s victory with a brilliant birdie on the 72nd hole, golf fans now have just 24 hours left to enter the ticket ballot for The 155th Open at St Andrews.

The ticket ballot closes tomorrow, Friday 24 July at 3pm, and fans are being urged to enter now to avoid disappointment as the Championship prepares for its highly anticipated return to the home of golf from 11-18 July 2027.

The ticket ballot remains the primary route for fans to secure general admission tickets and has seen huge demand since opening earlier this month. To enter the ballot in these final hours, fans will need to be members of One Club, the free-to-join digital membership programme presented by Mastercard.

Those entering the ballot before the deadline should be aware that fans who have applied for tickets on practice days (July 12-14) have had a higher chance of success. Practice day highlights include the Last-Chance Qualifier on July 12, a dramatic 12-player contest where the final place at The 155th Open will be decided, while July 13 will see the Heroes Classic Champion Edition, a showcase event where past winners the Open and special guests will play in teams over the 1st, 2nd, 17th and 18th holes of the Old Course.

While Ticket Plus is already sold out on championship days, fans can join the waiting list to be first in line should anything additional become available. Meanwhile, hospitality and destination packages for the 155th Open are still available to buy.

Fans who want to guarantee their place without relying on the ballot can also choose from a range of experiences, including travel and accommodation packages, the Open Camping Village, and hotel packages designed to make attending St Andrews as easy as possible.
