LACOSTE have given its iconic logo a makeover for Novak Djokovic ahead of the US Open.

The French sports brand, which was founded back in 1933, is known worldwide for its green crocodile logo.

But they have ditched the world-famous crocodile for their latest collection honouring four-time US Open winner Djokovic, whom they’ve been decking out for the last eight years.

The newly-released and limited-edition line has seen the Croc replaced with a green goat to celebrate the Serb’s standing as the “Greatest of All Time.”

Lacoste announced the new line with a video on their social media channels, which included a collection of tweets from tennis fans hailing Djokovic as the ‘GOAT’.

Their accompanying caption read: “From a [crocodile emoji] to the [goat emoji]. Discover a collection celebrates @DjokerNole: a one-of-a-kind player, whose career is defined by a passion, perseverance and greatness.”

Tennis fans were quick to comment on the announcement of the Djokovic-inspired line, with one saying: “Novak Djokovic…the ‘GOAT of GOATS.”

Another said: “Beautifully done.”

And another said: “Shut up and take my money.”

One remarked: “Love how the fans are involved – and how they look.”

And another chimed in: “Fully deserved. Nole is the undisputed GOAT and this initiative is amazing!

“Please take my money right here, right now.”
