REAL MADRID star Jude Bellingham has fired a short but sweet comeback to Lamine Yamal’s fiery comments made ahead of Sunday’s El Clasico.
Yamal had infuriated the Real faithful when he implied that Los Blancos were not a sportsmanlike outfit during a YouTube appearance last week.
When jokingly asked on the channel of Gerard Pique‘s seven-a-side ‘Kings League’ if Real resembled one of the teams in the competition, he took the opportunity to fire a dig at his fierce rivals.
He said: “Yes, they rob [a reference to refereeing decisions], they complain, they do things…”
Bellingham did not need any underhand tactics to drop an emphatic response to the Spaniard.
He stole the show during the iconic fixture, and immediately took to social media following Madrid‘s 2-1 victory.

He fired back with his simple three-word reply in the caption of a post uploaded to his Instagram account: “Talk is cheap.”
He added the “HALA MADRID SIEMPRE!!!” in the post, which has reached almost FOUR MILLION likes on the site in barely 12 hours.
And affairs on the pitch were just as dramatic as they have proved to be off it, but it was Barcelona who got the rub of the green from VAR.
The hosts at the Bernabeu were handed a penalty inside the opening minutes of the game for a foul by Yamal on Vinicius, before VAR intervened to reverse the decision.
Not even ten minutes later, Kylian Mbappe thought he had broken the deadlock with a lethal finish from outside the box, but that was then ruled out for offside.
Mbappe finally opened the scoring after 22 minutes when he latched onto a beautiful through ball from Bellingham.
The visitors would hit back shortly after as Fermin Lopez slammed home a cutback from Manchester United loanee Marcus Rashford to level things.
But Bellingham got the last laugh when he tapped home the match-winner in acres of space at the back post, celebrating nonchalantly in front of the fans.
While that was the end of the scoring, it was not the end of the chaos, as tensions boiled over on the sidelines following a second yellow card to Barca star Pedri.
And things once again ignited, this time between players on the pitch, with a brawl emerging following the final whistle.
