After a week of preparation, NBA champion Jalen Brunson will walk the tightrope of hosting Saturday Night Live tonight. The newly crowned King of New York joins an elite club as one of the few NBA players ever to host the show, following Bill Russell, Charles Barkley, Michael Jordan, and LeBron James. The fact that this is the 52nd premiere of the iconic show makes the honor even more special, and while Jalen might not kill like OJ Simpson (hosted in ’78), he can least land a joke better than that knucklehead Travis Kelce (’23).
