The Guardians look completely out of their depth against the Tampa Bay Rays who are 4-1 against Cleveland this year.
You know, whenever I point out how bad the Guardians hitting is and has been, people say I need to be patient and see how things change once the later draft picks make the majors. So, Ralphy Velazquez, Angel Genao, Juneiker Caceres… but I can’t shake the feeling that they are not going to get the most out of those players. Maybe I have to see Bazzana and DeLauter finish the season strong, first.
Guardians Weekly predictably focused on the seven homer game and Jim Rosenhaus interviewed Grady Sizemore.
Can Parker Messick throw a shutout today? That’s probably the Guardians’ only chance to beat the Rays and Drew Rasmussen.
