MANCHESTER CITY have reportedly recalled Kalvin Phillips to their squad for the Manchester derby.

The former England star was exiled by Pep Guardiola over the summer.

But he could now make his first appearance for the club in 21 months against rivals Manchester United.

Phillips spent last season on loan at Ipswich and suffered relegation.

His last competitive match for City came against Urawa Red Diamonds in the Club World Cup.

That came almost two years ago on December 19, with Phillips coming on as a substitute and playing 13 minutes.

He now has a chance to resurrect his career at the Etihad after being selected in their 25-man Premier League squad, report The Telegraph.
