“I still have what it takes to set more records in the sport of boxing,” Mayweather said. “From my upcoming Mike Tyson event to my next professional fight afterwards, no one will generate a bigger gate, have a larger global broadcast audience and generate more money with each event.”

The agreement places Mayweather under the CSI Sports and Fight Sports banner, with his first professional bout under the arrangement targeted for summer 2026. An opponent has not yet been announced.

Mayweather’s last sanctioned fight came in August 2017, when he defeated Conor McGregor to reach a 50-0 record. Since then, he has participated only in exhibition bouts while remaining active in boxing through promotional work and public appearances.

CSI Sports co-founders Richard and Craig Miele described the agreement as a major addition to their organization.

“Signing Floyd Mayweather to un-retire highlights our commitment to providing our global audience with the most high-profile fighters in the sport,” they said in a joint statement.

Mayweather’s return, if it occurs, would come nearly nine years after his final professional appearance. His career included victories over Manny Pacquiao, Canelo Alvarez, and Oscar De La Hoya, and he remains one of the sport’s most commercially successful fighters.

Further details regarding Mayweather’s opponent, event date, and licensing have not yet been confirmed.
