Efe Ajagba Stops ‘Prince’ Charles Martin

In the third round, Ajagba dropped Martin with a right hand on the chin for an eight-count from referee Thomas Taylor. In the fourth round, Ajagba landed a flurry of punches, leaving Martin defenseless, forcing referee Taylor to halt the bout.

In the co-feature, light heavyweight southpaw Umar Dzambekov, 14-0 (10), of Grozny, Russia, and Los Angeles, California, stopped Ahmed ‘The American Pharaoh’ Elbiali, 24-2 (19), of Cairo, Egypt, and Las Vegas, Nevada, at 0:57 of the second round of a scheduled 10 rounds.

In the second round, Dzambekov landed a right uppercut on the chin, sending Elbiali down. Referee Mark Nelson immediately waved off the bout.

Lightweight Abel Mejia, 10-1 (7), of El Modena, California, was stopped by southpaw Jaybrio Pe Benito, 7-0 (5), of Hollywood, California, at 0:48 of the third round of a scheduled 8 rounds. In the second round, Benito dropped Mejia with a right hand on the chin for an eight-count from referee Allen Huggins. In the third round, Benito landed another right hand on the chin, dropping Mejia again for the stoppage.

Middleweight Leo Ruiz, 17-1 (9), of Zacatecas, Mexico, and San Bernardino, California, defeated Casey ‘The Comeback Kid’ James Streeter, 15-3-2 (6), of Portland, Maine, by stoppage at 1:23 of the fourth round of a scheduled 8 rounds. Referee Allen Huggins called a halt after Ruiz controlled the action.

Middleweight Antonio ‘Super Bad’ Woods, 14-2 (12), of Minneapolis, Minnesota, lost a split decision to Mark ‘AOB’ Beuke, 13-3 (7), of Corpus Christi, Texas, over 8 rounds. Scores were 77-75 for Beuke, 75-77 for Woods, and 77-75 for Beuke. Referee Thomas Taylor.

Lightweight Oswaldo Molina, 10-0 (4), of Guadalajara, Mexico, defeated Joshua ‘The Irish Virus’ Clark, 9-2 (2), of Rogers, Minnesota, over 6 rounds. Scores were 60-54 on all cards. Referee Mark Nelson.

Super bantamweight Emiliano Alvarado, 10-0 (6), of Coachella, California, stopped southpaw Devin ‘Most Dangerous’ Gantt, 5-3 (5), of Sicklerville, New Jersey, at 1:24 of the fourth round of a scheduled 6 rounds. Referee Allen Huggins halted the bout after Alvarado dominated the action.

Lightweight Dariial Kuchmenov, 10-0 (8), of Nalchik, Russia, and Los Angeles, California, stopped Jorge ‘Piolas’ Lagunas, 19-8 (15), of Tijuana, Mexico, at 1:32 of the fourth round of a scheduled 6 rounds. Referee Mark Nelson called a halt after Kuchmenov controlled the fight.
