AUTHORITIES are said to have launched an investigation after a Burnley star was reportedly accused of spitting at a Leeds fan.
The alleged incident is said to have occurred during Saturday’s clash between the Premier League rivals.
Burnley beat Leeds 2-0 at Turf Moor to move out of the relegation zone.
However, it’s now been claimed that a Clarets ace spat at a Leeds fan during the game.
A complaint was reportedly lodged by the visiting supporter at some point in the match.
And authorities are now said to have started an investigation into the alleged incident.

“The authorities are investigating after a complaint was made from a supporter in the Leeds United section at Turf Moor.”
Leeds dominated the stats against Burnley on Saturday.
But they could not score a single goal despite having 14 shots to Burnley’s three.
Leeds also boasted 64 per cent of possession during the game.
Yet it was the Clarets who drew first blood through Lesley Ugochukwu.
The midfielder opened the scoring after 18 minutes, marking his first Burnley goal since joining from Chelsea over the summer.
Leeds huffed and puffed but could not find a way to goal as forwards like Dominic Calvert-Lewin fell short.
And the game was effectively put to bed 20 minutes from time when Loum Tchaouna came off Burnley’s bench to put his side two goals up.
The result means the Clarets are now up to 17th, one point off 15th place Leeds.
