British Touring Car Championship race winner Daryl DeLeon and FIA Formula 3 victor Callum Voisin are among the finalists battling to become the next Porsche Carrera Cup GB Junior.
They will be joined by Porsche Sprint Challenge GB frontrunner Samuel Harvey and Dutch Porsche Cayman racer Joep Breedveld in a Silverstone shootout next month to determine who will follow in the footsteps of James Wallis and become the next Junior.
The chosen one will receive £85,000 towards their Carrera Cup budget across each of the next two seasons as well as a wealth of support and opportunities from the manufacturer.
Although DeLeon has spent the past two-and-a-half seasons racing in the BTCC, finishing 13th in this year’s standings with WSR, he has past sportscar and Porsche experience.
He was a Radical frontrunner in 2023, and also raced the previous generation Carrera Cup car in the British Endurance Championship that year, being one of four Team Hard drivers to share the crown.
“It’s an amazing opportunity for any young driver and thought I’d go for it,” DeLeon told Autosport.

“Sportscars is something I’ve always had my eye on from Radicals and racing the old gen Porsche Cup car, I feel like I’ve developed some good skill in the rear-wheel drive.
“To race in Carrera Cup is such a fantastic opportunity – I’m still 20 years old and still only just starting my career.
“You’ve just got to look at the previous winners and they’re all doing big things now and that’s exactly what I aspire to do one day.”
Voisin, meanwhile, heads into the shootout off the back of a “frustrating” sophomore campaign in FIA Formula 3. The 2023 GB3 champion was a race winner last year but only scored one further podium this season with Rodin en route to 14th in the final table and is now seeking a fresh challenge.
“I did my best through GB3 and F3 but didn’t really have the funds to go further up – it’s a good time to move on,” the 19-year-old told Autosport. “Sportscars is probably the future for me.
“I’m going into the shootout as a bit of an unknown as I’ve not really driven much in a GT3 car and I’ve never driven a Carrera Cup car. The Porsche Junior scholarship was definitely very appealing to me – I’m excited and preparation is already under way.”

Former Ginetta racer Harvey, 20, first entered the Porsche pyramid last year in the Sprint Challenge, progressing to the top RS Pro division for 2025. He has scored two wins and finished fourth in the standings.
Another driver with Cayman experience on their CV is 18-year-old Breedveld, who has been competing in the Porsche Sports Cup Deutschland series following a successful karting career.
The winner will be announced at Porsche’s Night of Champions event on 22 November.
