The Atlanta Braves kicked off the series against the Miami Marlins with a 4-2 win on Tuesday evening. Despite some drama in the later innings, Grant Holmes made the start and pitched a gem. He tossed six scoreless innings, striking out five and giving up a base on balls.
The Marlins outhit the Atlanta offense, but fortunately, the Braves were able to hold on and get their sixth straight win. The series continues tonight at 7:15 ET.
