Alexander Isak boost?

Newcastle are keeping tabs on Ipswich Town star Liam Delap ahead of the summer transfer window.

According the Telegraph, the Magpies are keen on Delap whose team is heading to the Championship.

That could be a boost for Arsenal and their hopes of signing the Toon’s star striker Alexander Isak.

However, Newcastle are still determined to keep hold of the Sweden international.

Viktor Gyokeres hints

Sporting Lisbon star Viktor Gyokeres has been active on Instagram amid transfer speculation linking him to a summer move to Arsenal.

Gyokeres shared stories showing him celebrating, being confirmed as man of the match and having a conversation with a Sporting official.

That suggests the striker is loving life in Lisbon with the Portuguese table toppers.

With that in mind, there is no guarantee the Sweden international would want to leave.

And the 26-year-old could ensure Sporting receive a substantial fee for his departure.

Dusan Vlahovic boost

Arsenal have received a major boost in their bid to sign Juventus star Dusan Vlahovic.

That is because Calciomercato claim Juve may have to sell Vlahovic this summer if they don’t qualify for next season’s Champions League.

The same goes for fellow Bianconeri aces Kenan Yildiz and Andrea Cambiaso.

Juventus are currently fifth in the Serie A table with only one point separating them from the top four, which leads to Champions League qualification next term.

Sambi Lokonga coming back?

Arsenal flop Albert Sambi Lokonga is set for a summer return to the Emirates after suffering his fourth injury of the season during his loan stint at Sevilla.

Lokonga, 25, joined the Andalusian outfit in July for the 2024-25 campaign in a deal that includes a £10.25million buy option.

According to The Mirror, the LaLiga giants are unlikely to trigger that option due to persistent hamstring issues that have limited the midfielder to just 21 appearances across all competitions.

That poses as a blow for the Gunners, who wish to raise funds to bolster their transfer budget for the summer market.

Had that figure been met, the North Londoners would have also inherited a 25 per cent sell-on clause.

The same source suggests Sevilla tried to negotiate a lower release clause but chances of a permanent deal are growing slimmer after yet another injury setback
