The 2026 Red Sox wouldn’t be where they are without some surprising contributions

As Jake points out in his piece this morning, we’re on the cusp of potentially seeing some big changes to the Red Sox roster and everyday lineup. Roman Anthony isn’t coming back to Boston to ride the bench, of course. And while this will make a lot of fans groan, I think the same can be said of Trevor Story. Talk about modern-day Pedro Ciriacos and whatever else you want in this space and, as always, be good to one another.
