The Mets are trading A.J. Minter, who excelled for New York this season as part of their main left-handed relief tandem at the end of games.
SNY’s Chelsea Janes confirms Minter will be dealt to the Twins.
Multiple reports have the Mets receiving prospects Bruin Agbayani and Billy Amick in the deal.
Minter, who signed with the Mets ahead of the 2025 season, missed most of last year due to a serious lat injury that required surgery.
He is set for free agency after this season.
