Tim Bradley Calls Fulton Weight Miss ‘Career Suicide’

Tim Bradley tore into Stephen Fulton after the former two-division world champion failed to make weight, leading to the cancellation of his scheduled fight with Liam Wilson in Sydney.

Reacting to the news on social media, Bradley said Fulton’s repeated struggles on the scales are destroying a career built on elite talent.

“This don’t make no damn sense. Serious, Stephen Fulton, what the hell going on, bro? Every time he in training camp, this dude. This is career suicide. The man can’t stop eating. That’s the problem. I don’t get it. All that money you’ve left on the table. All that talent you got,” said Bradley on his channel.

The cancellation marked the second consecutive fight in which Fulton was unable to make the contracted weight. Earlier this week, the bout had already been changed from a WBA super featherweight title eliminator to a 133-pound catchweight after his camp requested the adjustment. The fight was eventually scrapped after Friday’s official weigh-in.

Bradley argued that Fulton is wasting the ability that once made him one of boxing’s top fighters.

“You waste your damn talent. You should be ashamed of yourself, man. I don’t see how you can live with yourself,” Bradley said.

Bradley closed by questioning Fulton’s future in the sport, saying the latest episode may cost him future opportunities.

“Career is over, player. Ain’t nobody gonna spend and waste no money on your ass no more, bro. You on a vacation now,” said Bradlet.

He also criticized the Sydney card as a whole after the cancellation removed another featured bout from the undercard, leaving Tim Tszyu’s clash with Errol Spence Jr. as the only matchup he was eager to watch.

“This whole card this weekend is straight trash. The only one that’s on it is Errol Spence and Tim Tszyu. It’s the only fight I’m looking forward to,” said Bradley.
