Shakur Stevenson Says Devin Haney Deal Already Signed

Shakur Stevenson says he has already signed his part of a proposed 144-pound fight with Devin Haney, disputing Bill Haney’s claim that the agreement still needs to be completed.

Hours after Bill Haney declared that Devin Haney would not make any concessions first and demanded that a 144-pound bout agreement be signed, Shakur fired back on social media.

“Stop it. My part been signed. U see who I’m wit,” Shakur said on X in response to Bill Haney’s post.

Shakur followed with another message, suggesting Team Haney now has only two choices for Devin’s next fight.

“Trolling can only last so long. It’s either me or Key lose-lose either way now make y’all decision.”

Bill Haney has insisted Devin will not vacate any titles before an agreement is reached, warning that DHP will move on if a deal with Shakur cannot be finalized.

While Shakur says his side has signed, he did not mention Bill Haney’s earlier insistence that Devin will not surrender his WBO title before the fight. That has become one of the central issues in the public back-and-forth between the two camps.

His reference to “Key” is understood to mean WBO welterweight mandatory challenger Keyshawn Davis, whom Bill Haney has repeatedly identified as another possible opponent if talks with Shakur collapse. Shakur and Keyshawn have long maintained they have no interest in fighting each other.

Team Haney has yet to respond publicly to Shakur’s latest claims. If Shakur’s side has indeed signed the agreement, the focus now shifts to whether the camps can resolve the remaining issue over Devin’s WBO title or move on to Keyshawn Davis.
