Luxury Swiss watchmaker TAG Heuer has joined forces with TaylorMade Golf to launch a new premium GPS golf smartwatch designed to combine cutting-edge performance tracking with distinctive golfing style.
The new TAG Heuer Connected Calibre E5 45mm x TaylorMade Edition headlines a wider collaborative collection that also includes a limited-edition Spider ZT x TAG Heuer putter and a range of co-branded accessories, including caps, luggage and a golf glove. The collection will be available from June 25.
Built around TAG Heuer’s Connected Calibre E5 platform, the smartwatch features a lightweight brushed and sandblasted titanium 45mm case, a ceramic bezel engraved with all 18 holes, and subtle TaylorMade-inspired design details, including the brand’s logo on the crown and styling cues drawn from the face of a golf club.
The watch is equipped with an AMOLED touchscreen protected by sapphire crystal glass and offers an always-on display for easy viewing during a round. A premium blue leather and black rubber strap comes as standard, while an additional textile strap is included in the presentation box.
Designed specifically for golfers, the latest version of TAG Heuer’s Golf app introduces a host of advanced features. These include automatic shot tracking, an enhanced hole layout view and Automatic Strokes Gained analysis, allowing players to benchmark their performance against specific scoring goals and gain deeper insights into their game.
Two exclusive watch faces have been created for the collaboration. Momentum reflects the fluid motion of the golf swing, with an animated display that continuously draws the TaylorMade logo, while Topography takes inspiration from golf course contours and TaylorMade’s iconic Spider putter design.
Battery performance has also been optimised for golfers, delivering up to 12 hours of dedicated golf use and up to 17 hours in sport mode. Fast-charging technology provides a full day’s use from just 30 minutes of charging.
Away from the course, the smartwatch offers a comprehensive suite of health and wellness features, including sleep monitoring, heart-rate tracking, blood oxygen measurement, breathing-rate analysis and recovery insights. Dual-band GPS technology delivers improved positional accuracy, while compatibility with both iOS and Android devices ensures seamless connectivity.
The TAG Heuer Connected Calibre E5 45mm x TaylorMade Edition is priced at £2,150 and goes on sale today (June 25).
