Asked about reports linking him and White to an upcoming announcement, Fury chose not to reveal specifics himself.

“I think I’m going to let Dana do the speaking. I let him do his announcement,” Fury said. “So, let’s hope forward. It’s a massive, massive, massive announcement.”

The White House setting only added to the attention surrounding Fury’s comments, particularly given White’s growing influence in boxing through TKO’s expansion into the sport.

The conversation soon shifted toward Anthony Joshua, a fight that has been discussed for more than a decade but has repeatedly failed to materialize.

“Very, very, very excited for this fight,” Fury said. “It’s been over a decade in the making. For whatever reason, it hasn’t happened before. Let’s hope it happens right now.”

Fury then appeared to reveal the timeline being targeted.

“Potential fight in August, and maybe at the end of the year, it happens,” said Tyson.

The most notable moment came when Fury was asked directly if White could have promotional involvement in a future showdown with Joshua.

“For sure. Yes.”

While Fury stopped short of confirming that an agreement has been reached, his comments represent one of the clearest indications yet that White could play a role in bringing together one of boxing’s biggest remaining fights.

Fury declined to identify his expected August opponent but said he is eager to return to action.

“I’ve got no details on the fight, but looking forward to fighting whoever they put in front of me and getting back to do what I do best, winning,” said Fury.

Recent weeks have seen increasing speculation that Fury and Joshua could each take interim bouts before finally meeting later this year. Fury’s appearance at the White House, coupled with his comments regarding White’s involvement, is certain to intensify discussion about whether the long-awaited heavyweight clash is finally moving toward the finish line.
