Germany’s Helen Briem triumphed at the Jabra Ladies Open de France winning by seven shots at Evian Resort Golf Club to clinch her second Ladies European Tour title.
The Stuggart-born 20-year-old, who last victory was at La Sella Open in 2024, led by three shots heading into the final round in France after opening up with rounds of 69 and 65.
Briem started off her final round in steady fashion, rolling in pars on her first six holes before making her first birdie on the seventh. She then rolled in three birdies in a four-hole stretch between 11 and 14 before parring her way in to close with a four-under 67 and secure the largest margin of victory of the LET this season, winning by seven shot with a total of 12-under-par.
Three players ended the week in a share of second place, with Shannon Tan, Lydia Hall and Sara Byrne all on finishing on five-under-par.
In addition to the winner’s prize of €67,500, Briem’s win also secured a return to Evian after booking her a place in the Amundi Evian Championship, the third major of the season, which is taking place at the French resort from July 9-12.
