NBA Playoff Round Two Reactions + WNBA Check-Ins

We have a jam-packed episode of The Dunker Spot coming your way! First, Nekias Duncan and Steve Jones continue dissecting second round playoff action! The Cleveland Cavaliers and the San Antonio Spurs have taken 3-2 series leads over the Detroit Pistons and Minnesota Timberwolves respectively. The guys discuss what happened in Game 5, what they’ll be looking for in Game 6 and 7 (if needed), and give early thoughts on Spurs-Thunder and Cavs-Knicks just in case the Conference Finals start before Tuesday.

From there, the guys shift to the WNBA to bounce around! They discuss the Dallas Wings’ tough loss to the Minnesota Lynx, the ensuing postgame presser from Wings head coach Jose Fernandez, and the early returns (and growth areas) for the Wings’ defense. They also check in on the Los Angeles Sparks, salute the currently-undefeated Chicago Sky and Atlanta Dream, and share the games they’re most excited about heading into the weekend.
