Moton took control from the opening bell. He stepped forward behind a firm jab, dug hooks to the body, and put punches together in compact bursts that forced Flores to reset repeatedly. Flores tried to answer when space appeared, but he was being walked down and gradually pushed toward the ropes as Moton kept stepping into range.

In the second round, Moton closed the distance even more. He crowded Flores, worked downstairs, and followed with sharp shots upstairs. Flores found himself backing into the corner as the punches continued, and he struggled to create room to respond with anything sustained.

When Flores covered up under a string of clean shots and stopped firing back, the referee stepped in to halt the action late in the round. He was forced to because Flores wasn’t throwing anything back.

After the second, Flores remained on his stool while his corner spoke with the referee. He did not come out for round three, and the official result was a second-round TKO.

The contest represented Moton’s promotional debut under Manny Pacquiao after a brief layoff and a clear step up in scheduled rounds. He looked composed, physically strong, and in command throughout the two completed rounds.

For a 19-year-old prospect taking on a more experienced opponent in his first scheduled 10-rounder, it was a convincing performance that reinforces his standing among the sport’s rising young talents and suggests he is ready for a gradual increase in opposition this year.
