Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers suffered a knee injury in the final game of the 2024 regular season that kept him out of the playoffs and we haven’t heard much about him since. On Sunday, head coach John Harbaugh provided an update.

With the Ravens in the midst of rookie minicamp on Sunday, Harbaugh gave a very positive update on the former first-round pick, who is working his way back from a LCL sprain.

Harbaugh revealed that Flowers did not need surgery and added that he’s “feeling great” and all signs point to him being ready to roll.

Zay Flowers injury update

“[Flowers’ injury] did not go to surgery,” Harbaugh said. “Actually, he was doing a little dancing in the weight room this last week and he said he’s feeling great. His knee is back, but he did it with rehab and he should be ready.”

This is obviously great news for the Ravens, as Flowers is the team’s best receiver and is a key member of the offense.

Flowers enjoyed a breakout campaign in 2024, with the former first-round selection posting a career-high 1,059 yards, which was over 200 more than he totaled in his rookie season.

The Ravens have been busy at wide receiver this offseason, with the team signing DeAndre Hopkins and drafting LaJohntay Wester to add to a group of pass-catchers that also includes Rashod Bateman and tight ends Mark Andrews and Isaiah Likely.

Regardless of those new additions, Flowers remains the top dog in Baltimore.
