WORLD number one Jannik Sinner was seen trembling in worrying scenes during the Australian Open.
The incident occurred during his fourth round win over Holger Rune at the Rod Laver Arena today.
Defending champion Sinner secured victory in four sets to reached the quarters on Wednesday.
But the Italian left tennis fans worried as he was captured on camera shaking heavily in the blazing Melbourne heat.
Sinner appeared exhausted as he took a 12-minute medical break during the game, sitting down before wiping himself with a towel.
However, his right hand could be seen trembling as he dried himself.
And supporters were left worried by the scene.
One said: “Hope he gets better soon.”
Another declared: “It was a very hot day in Melbourne.”
One noted: “A great champ to recover from that.”
Another added: “It’s normal to shake due to muscle strain.”
Sinner explained the shaking afterwards, telling fans that he was okay.
The ace said: “This morning was a very strange morning because I didn’t even warm up today.
“I knew in my mind already before the match that I would struggle today.”
