Wimbledon 2025 LIVE RESULTS: Sonay Kartal on NOW, Cam Norrie also in action as Fritz goes THROUGH – latest updates

Royal Box honours Olympic and Paralympic stars

It was Sporting Saturday in the Royal Box yesterday.

And plenty more GB Olympics and Paralympics are honoured at the All England Club today.

That includes pool stars Izzy Thrope, Kieran Bird, Jack McMillan plus 4x200m freestyle quartet James Guy, Tom Dean, Matt Richards and Duncan Scott.

Paralympic stars Finlay Graham, Jenny Holl and Hannah Cockroft are also in the posh seats.

Tennis duo Gordon Reid and Alfie Hewett will watch from the VIP area, as do sporting heroes Brian Lara and Mark Foster.

And a special mention to the wonderful Chris Kamara, who is here too.

The roof is on over Centre Court, too – because of the rain.

Fritz 1-1 Thompson

First up on No1 Court is American No1 Taylor Fritz.

After 14 sets in three matches, he will be hoping for a far simpler passage into the quarter-finals.

He takes on Australian Jordan Thompson.

They share a 1-1 record, with the Aussie crucially winning on the grass at Queen’s a year ago.

Khachanov 6-4 6-2 6-3 Majchrzak

That was simple enough for Karen Khachanov.

The No17 seed dismantles Kamil Majchrzak in three comfortable sets.

Mimi Xu back in action

Remember Mimi Xu? The 17-year-old lost to Emma Raducanu in round one of this year’s Championships.

She’s now back in action, playing in the junior event.

Xu lost the the first set 6-2 to American Thea Frodin, but has bounced back to level by taking the second 6-4.
