However, fans will have to wait a little longer to see their top-flight teams on the screens this weekend.

Arsenal are the leaders of the league heading into this weekend, and will feature before second placed side Man City.

Aston Villa will be looking to continue their momentum going, having beaten the Gunners with a last-minute goal thanks to Emi Buendia.

This will also be the last weekend stars such as Mo Salah, Bryan Mbeumo and Iliman Ndiaye will be in action before AFCON.

SunSport can reveal why there is no Premier League game at 12:30pm this weekend.

Why is there no 12:30pm kick-off today?

There is no 12:30 kick-off in the Premier League today due to Arsenal’s Champions League commitments.

The Gunners were away to Club Brugge on Wednesday night, with lunchtime not giving them enough time to fill the Premier League’s mandatory rest window.

The clash had been selected for TNT Sports coverage, and as a result was moved to 8pm this evening.

When else has this happened this season?

Liverpool were due to face Aston Villa at lunchtime on Saturday, November 1 but the Reds had been in action in the Carabao Cup the previous Wednesday so it got rescheduled to a later kick-off time.

Meanwhile, events elsewhere in the city led to the clash at home to Villa being moved to the night.

Everton’s Hill Dickinson Stadium played host to the England vs Australia rugby league clash earlier on Saturday.

The aforementioned 3pm blackout rule meant Liverpool vs Villa couldn’t be staged then, while the Tottenham Hotspur vs Chelsea 5:30pm clash was the pre-arranged TV game for Sky.

This left 8pm as the remaining available slot with Liverpool in action in the Champions League the following Tuesday, ruling out a Sunday scheduling.

What are the full fixtures this weekend?
