ALEXANDER BUBLIK is making waves at the French Open after knocking out British favourite Jack Draper.

The 27-year-old lost the first set 7-5 before winning three on the bounce to pull off an all-mighty shock in Paris.

Bublik’s win meant he became the first player from Kazakhstan to reach a men’s singles Grand Slam quarter-final.

Before his historic run at the French Open, his best performance in a Grand Slam event came at the 2023 edition of Wimbledon, when he reached the fourth round.

Bublik will be hoping he can keep up his stunning displays at Roland Garros and clinch an unlikely title.

And the World No62 will be supported all the way by his wife Tatiyana.

Who is Alexander Bublik’s wife Tatiyana?

Very little is known about Bublik’s wife Tatiyana, but the pair do have one child together.

The couple welcomed baby boy Vasily on August 16, 2022.

At the time, Bublik spoke about becoming a father ahead of the 2022 US Open, he said: “You don’t really think about a Grand Slam when you’re having a baby.

“We’re getting used to the new chapter of our life.

“It’s not that tough, as some say. It’s a lot more fun even though he’s not speaking and sleeping all the time. Your home becomes even warmer and nicer even though he’s crying. It’s incredible.”

Bublik’s wife is often seen cheering him on in the crowd during tennis tournaments.

After the Kazakh stunned Andrey Rublev to win the Halle Open title in 2023, the cameras picked up a wholesome moment Bublik shared with his family celebrating the win.
