The Bills and Ravens battled on Sunday in the final game of the divisional round, with the winner earning a trip to the AFC championship game.

That victor turned out to be Josh Allen and the Buffalo contingent. 

The clash between Buffalo and Baltimore featured a clash of the top two candidates for this year’s MVP award. While Allen did not put together an MVP performance like in the past, he and the Bills did enough to pull out a win and advance to the AFC Championship. 

The Bills entered the game already knowing who they would play if they won. The Chiefs hosted the Texans in the first game of the weekend to decide the other AFC championship game participant.

Who will the Bills play next if they win?

In the AFC championship game, the Bills play the Chiefs after Kansas City defeated the Texans on Saturday afternoon. During the regular season, Buffalo gave the Chiefs their first loss of the season with a 30-17 win in November.

This would be the fourth time in five years that the Bills and Chiefs face off in the playoffs, but Kansas City won each of the last three. After the Chiefs defeated the Bills in Buffalo last January, this game would once again return to Kansas City like the first two contests.

Since Buffalo drafted Josh Allen, the Bills have lost five times in the playoffs. with three of them coming against the Chiefs. Once again, this matchup would mean Buffalo tries to overcome their biggest nemesis.
