THE Club World Cup is heading towards the business end of the competition with the final round of group games taking place this week.

Chelsea have had an up-and-down start in the United States, beating LAFC 2-0 and losing 3-1 to Flamengo in their last outing.

Blues fans have had the chance to see their new £30million striker Liam Delap in action as the former Ipswich star looks to nail down the No9 position ahead of the new season.

Enzo Maresca’s side face ES Tunis in their final match in Group D – and it’s a pivotal one with Chelsea’s spot in the last-16 far from secure.

SunSport brings you all the details on what the West London outfit need to progress to the knockout stage and who they could face in the next round.

Who could Chelsea play in last-16 of Club World Cup?

Following Chelsea’s 3-1 loss to Flamengo last Friday, the Blues can no longer finish top of Group D, as the Brazilian side have three more points and a better head-to-head record.

This means the only way Maresca’s side can progress to the last-16 of the Club World Cup is by finishing second.

Chelsea currently sit second with three points, while tonight’s opponents, ES Tunis, also have three points, but the Blues have a superior goal difference.

All Maresca’s side need to do against the Tunisian outfit is avoid defeat, and they will go through to the last-16.

If ES Tunis beat Chelsea, the Premier League giants will be eliminated from the Club World Cup entirely.

Should the Blues avoid an embarrassing upset, they will face the winners of Group C – Bayern Munich or Benfica – in the last-16.
