Who are Gabby Logan’s children? Meet jockey Lois and rugby player Reuben

GABBY Logan is a familiar face on the tele for sports fans and is the new host of Match of the Day.

But while Gabby is not probing pundits on the side of the pitch, she is a busy mum of two wildly successful kids.

Gabby is married to former Scotland rugby international winger Kenny Logan.

The pair met in 1999 when Kenny spotted Gabby after recognising her from the TV, and introduced himself.

Gabby, who was 25 at the time, had been out celebrating a friend’s birthday, but ended up spending the rest of the night with Kenny.

The couple tied the knot in 2001.

Who are Gabby Logan’s children?

After being married for four years, the pair went on to have twins.

Lois and Reuben were born on July 28 2005.

The kids were raised in Buckinghamshire, where they moved to over a decade ago.

The Match of the Day presenter’s children stayed relatively out of the public eye for many years, only featuring on social media on special occasions.

However, in more recent years, fans of the family have been able to get to know the younger generation as they appear on podcasts, social media and have also carved out their own careers.

As the children of the nation’s leading broadcaster (and former international gymnast) and a 70-cap international rugby player, it’s no surprise that sport plays a major role in their lives.

But who are the not-so-little Logans?

Lois Logan

Lois in a recent interview on her mother’s Mid Point podcast, was described as the more empathetic and organised of the two siblings.

Having moved to Buckinghamshire as a child, Lois recently shared how their mother encouraged them to find a hobby in order to meet new people.

The 20-year-old described how she took up horse riding, and has not looked back.

The Logan daughter has taken a more traditional route in comparison to her brother.

After finishing school, she embarked on a Geography degree at Loughborough University.

But horse riding has stayed very much in the student’s focus, and she has now started competing at major events.

Lois is a showjumper by training, but recently pivoted her focus to jockeying, competing in her debut race in the Markel Magnolia Cup at Goodwood Racecourse in Chichester.

The charity event, which has raised more than £2.7m since its inception in 2011, was a hard-fought race, which saw Lois unplaced to the victor Sophie Forsyth.

Reuben Logan

The 6ft4 twin, Reuben Logan, has followed in his father’s footsteps, taking on a career as a professional rugby player.

Having played at Shiplake College and Berkhamsted School, Reuben was scouted to be in the Wasp Academy.

However, when the former Premiership Club folded, Reuben was without a team, putting his professional hopes at risk.

Fortunately, the 2023/24 Gallagher Premiership champions Northampton Saints swooped up the young back rower and brought him into their development squad.

He moved into a house in Northampton with other academy players, including rugby’s latest star player and current British & Irish Lion Henry Pollock.

From there, Reuben’s career blossomed, as he was selected at U20s level for England, but later switched allegiances to play for his father’s nation, Scotland, instead.

Despite the overall result in which Scotland lost four out of five games, Reuben had a successful U20s Six Nations campaign, starting in all five.

His performances for Northampton in the Premiership Rugby Cup and Scotland clearly impressed, as he was recently announced, somewhat prematurely by his mother in a Telegraph interview, that he would be moving to Manchester to play for Gallagher Premiership club Sale Sharks.
